How do you choose a live chat platform for your landing page? Perhaps with some preferences?

How, as in what do I take into account when selecting one? Here are some of the criteria I follow (order is random):
ā€¢ impact on performance
ā€¢ ease of use for my audience
ā€¢ ease of integration
ā€¢ level of integration
ā€¢ benefits to me and my project
ā€¢ cost to me (ROI)

Thanks Matthew! And yes, I meant what you do think when you want to select one. Have you ever selected something for your own project? If yes, which one and why?

I tried Drift and GoSquared, but ultimately I have decided to use neither, because the user need wasn't there. In the end of the day, you need to prove that there is a viable reason to deploy something as extensive as live chat.
